F1 Visa Interview experience of Swetha Soudury at Hyderabad Consulate on 18-12-2014

I Went to consulate by 8:00 AM

My interview started at 09.30.

VO was a guy aged 25-30. He is a kind person, I am unable to understand his accent, even though he repeated his questions very slowly by bending his head.

Me- Gud mrng sir

VO- mrng and asked me to put my right hand fingers on the scanner.

me- Done Sir.

VO- vch univ

Me- Governors state univ 

VO- where it is located

Me- Chicago

VO- how many admits?

Me- told

VO- fees

Me- told(was not confident while saying fees)

VO- he douted on me and asked me to give i20. I gave my i20, he saw and asked me y did u select dis this admit vch has ESL program?

ME- I said am very passionate about learning english in USA, this was my fav subject in my school also (all lies    )

VO- Laughed loudly and said... ohh!!!! very funny!!!

Me- Jus maintaining eye Contact

VO- y don't u wait fr other admits as it is conditional admit rite???(asked second time)

Me- comparing to other univ this univ's fees is very less.. 

VO- %^&^%$@*&& (I didn't get his question)

Me- I said yes    (very loudly)

VO was seeing my face very seriously and again laughed, and asked my full name.

Me- swetha soudury

VO- he said "swetha you r very funny, I was just murmuring and testing ur attention towards me. U answered "yes" (again laughing Continuosly) 

Me- I also smiled (fake smile)

VO- vch are the subjects u r gng to take in ua 1st sem

Me-I said all my undergrad subjcts very Fastly (As I already know that VO dont knw the subjects)  

VO- What is the benefit of learning ESL program?(again same question repeated for the 3rd time)

Me- I can improve my English communication very perfectly and I can survive in USA.

VO- asked abt sponser

Me- Told

VO: asked GRE score? 

ME- 298.....(said lie.. in a high frequency)

VO- % and Bklogs?

Me- told

VO: Ur visa has been approved. 

Me- I said thank U so much sir

VO again called me by holding my passport and said, "In USA there are 14,500 univs , u jus go there and try for Direct admission.. dnt waste ur time by learning ESL"

"Chicago is a very coolest place and take care".. he added...

Me- I smiled and said thank u for ur concern sir..

VO- said Gud luck..

Here ends my Visa Interview...
