VO looked like he was in a hurry. Approved 2 Visas approved before me. Then comes my turn.

Me: Good Morning Sir.

VO: Very Good Morning.

Me: How are you doing sir?

VO: Fine. How about you?

Me: Fine Sir.

VO: Pass me your Passport please.

Me: Sure Sir.

VO: Your I-20 & SEVIS receipt.

Me: Here you go.

VO: (takes a look at my I-20) Why Texas Tech University?

Me: This university offers courses in my field of interest & I have scholarship from this university.

VO: (again takes a look at my I-20, and starts typing something) What are the universities you applied?

Me: UNM, TTU, BSU, UB (all in full names with loud & clear voice)

VO: (types something for few seconds) Your Visa is approved. You can collect your Passport in 3 business days.

Me: Thanks a lot sir. Have a nice day.

VO: That's okay man.

Suggestion: Maintain a smile while speaking to VO. It makes a good impression.
