F1 Visa Interview experience of Syed Hasan at Hyderabad Consulate on 6-8-2014

i was the 12th person to enter the consulate this morning. waited for my turn and the counter n go displayed.

i was the second guy on the counter to face the interview. the guy in-front of me was stammering and was low wit confidence(as he was unable to say the subjects he was gonna take) she was were harsh on him and said "sorry i cannot approve ur visa"

me: good morning with smile on!

vo: (not responded) pass me ua passport and i20

vo: which university?

me: Lawrence technological university.

vo:ok..put ua left hand on scanner why this university?

vo: talk to me while ur fingers are being scanned and don remove ur hand until i tell u.

me: (wsnt feeling comfortable)..because of the research going on in this university relates to my job?

vo: what kind of research is going on?

me: its going on under Dr nabil grace about the analysis of normal bridge and carbon fiber polymer bridge..

vo: how it relates to ur job>?

(i was taking out my experience letter)

vo: dont show me anything just tell me.

me: i am working in a construction company.

vo: wat work u do?

me : m a site engineer i guide in installing mechanical things.

vo: how it relates to the research going!!

me:(got tensed) it was the same thing with i did in my final year project.

vo: (shocked)

vo: who is sponsoring u?

me: my parents.

vo:what is ur father?

me:he is into business !

vo: what kind of business ?

me: he is into construction business..

vo: how many employees are working under him.

me: actually he is into partnership with my uncle exactly i dont know but i guess 20 or more.

vo:sorry i cant issue you visa..

me: thank you with a fake smile.
